Do roller shutters help keep the house cooler?
Yes — noticeably. A closed roller shutter creates an insulating air gap over the window and blocks direct sun before it hits the glass. Can you repair or re-motorise an existing roller shutter?

Manual-strap shutters can be converted to tubular motor operation (remote or wall switch), and older motor units can usually be swapped without touching the curtain or tracks. If the curtain itself is past its life, we quote a full replacement in the same visit.
