Our Story
Darling Downs Garage Doors & Gates was founded in 2015 by Adam and Kristie Duce after relocating to Toowoomba from North Queensland.
What started as a small, hands-on family operation has grown into one of the most trusted garage door and gate specialists across the Darling Downs.
Adam and Kristie now raise their four children here in Toowoomba, and over the years much of their extended family has followed them to call this town home too. This isn't just where we work — it's the same streets as the doors and gates we look after around Toowoomba, where our kids play sport, and where we've built lifelong relationships.
Built on Community
We are proud sponsors and strong supporters of junior rugby league and local referees across the region, and we are heavily involved in our own club.
Many of our team are junior coaches themselves. On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, you'll often find us on the sidelines at training with our kids. Family and community matter to us — and that carries through into how we run our business.
Our Team & Capability
We currently have nine technicians on the road along with a skilled crew in the shed — but what truly sets us apart is the depth of experience within our team.
Among our crew, we have:
- Two qualified boilermakers
- Two carpenters
- A cabinet maker
- A car mechanic
- A butcher
- A bull bar welder
- A painter
That mix of trade backgrounds means we approach projects differently. We fabricate. We modify. We problem-solve. We don't just install standard systems — we engineer solutions.
Because of this skill base, we're able to take on complex jobs that many others simply can't.
We also work closely with trusted local sparkies, concreters and specialist trades, allowing us to provide a true all-in-one solution — managing the process from start to finish.

As our capabilities, team and service area expanded, so did our vision.
What began as Darling Downs Garage Doors & Gates has now evolved into Limitless Garage Doors & Gates — a reflection of how far we've grown and where we're heading.
While our roots remain firmly planted in Toowoomba, we now proudly service regional and remote communities across Queensland. From major regional centres to rural properties, we have the team, stock and systems to deliver the same high standard of workmanship wherever we go.
