Automatic Technology Australia (ATA) was established in Melbourne in 1985 and has grown into one of the country's largest dedicated automation manufacturers. ATA designs and assembles its product range in Australia, with electronics produced overseas to ATA specification. The brand is best known for the GDO-9 sectional opener, the NeoSlider sliding gate motor and the NeoSwing articulated arm swing gate operator.
ATA's edge over Chamberlain (Merlin) and B&D (Controll-A-Door) is the rolling code remote system — TrioCode 128 — which is one of the most secure consumer-grade remote codes in the Australian market. ATA is also one of the few brands to make a complete in-house gate automation range alongside its garage door openers.

ATA's GDO range is the right call when remote code security matters — TrioCode 128 is significantly harder to intercept than older fixed-code or basic rolling-code systems. NeoSlider and NeoSwing dominate residential gate automation across acreage in Cambooya, Vale View and Highfields, where the solar-ready option lets us automate gates that don't have a 240V supply at the post. Axess Pro is the heavy-duty option for rural property entrances and small commercial yards in the Lockyer Valley and Western Downs.

ATA TrioCode 128 remotes only work with ATA receivers. They are not cross-compatible with B&D, Merlin, Centsys or Boss systems. If you replace an ATA opener with a different brand the existing remotes will not transfer.
Yes. The NeoSlider and NeoSwing ranges are explicitly designed to run from a solar panel and battery setup, which is why they are so widely used on rural acreage gates that don't have mains power at the post. We supply and install solar-ready ATA gate kits regularly.
ATA provides a 5 year warranty on motor units in domestic applications, with 12 months on accessories such as remotes and beams. Commercial warranties are quoted per project. Limitless lodges any warranty claims directly with ATA Melbourne on your behalf.
Yes — ATA GDO openers are direct replacements for most B&D Controll-A-Door, Merlin Tiltmaster and Gliderol Glidermatic units. Existing remotes from those brands won't work, so the install includes new ATA TrioCode 128 remotes.
