Upgrading your existing door
You don't always need a new door to get a real thermal and acoustic improvement. On existing steel sectional doors we fit reflective foil-backed foam kits bonded to the inside face of each panel, then replace worn bottom, side and top seals in the same visit. On existing roller doors we fit a purpose-cut insulation blanket inside the drum housing plus a full weather-seal kit around the curtain. Most retrofits are a half-day on site and give a noticeable drop in surface heat and drum noise from day one. Where the existing door is already dented, rusted or past 15 years of service, we'll say so — a new insulated door is usually the better spend.
