Yes — high-cycle commercial doors are a specialty. Dairy plant-room doors and calf-shed doors that cycle 20+ times per day need commercial-spec springs (longer life-cycle rating), commercial-spec rollers and a Grifco LR-Drive or S-Drive motor rated for repeat cycling. Standard residential setups don't last 12 months in this duty cycle.
If the door is over 4m wide and on an exposed elevation — yes. Killarney sits below the Main Range and gets hit by significant westerly and southerly wind events, and a non-wind-locked oversized roller door will rattle out of its tracks. Wind-locks add modest cost at install but cannot easily be retrofitted.
Most Killarney driveways are long, often steep and unsealed. Default spec is Centsys D5 EVO SMART for sliding gates up to 500kg, with a solar pack and battery backup for off-grid driveways. Custom oversize 6m+ shed doors quoted on application. Travel surcharge applies for standalone Killarney callouts but is generally waived where we can combine multiple Southern Downs jobs on one trip.
