West of Dalby the job mix flips. Residential garage doors are still part of the work, but the majority of what we do out through Chinchilla, Miles and Wandoan is oversized shed and workshop doors on rural properties, plus scheduled commercial servicing for the resource sector across the Surat Basin. We plan Western Downs runs a fortnight ahead so we can hit multiple sites in one trip.
Chinchilla is the Melon Capital and Miles is a working railhead town — both have serious dust, serious summer heat and long, single-lane travel times. Every truck heading out west carries spare Grifco industrial spring assemblies, drums, cables and B&D motor kits so we can complete rural repairs in a single trip rather than making a customer wait a week for a return visit.
Out west we install and service industrial roller shutters, oversized shed doors, farm workshop doors and driveway gates, and provide scheduled commercial door maintenance for oil, gas and resource sites. Full commercial servicing detail on our commercial page.
