The Granite Belt is our coldest patch. Stanthorpe, Applethorpe and Ballandean sit above 900 m, and the doors up here deal with snow-flurry cold snaps and 40°C summer harvest days in the same year. That temperature swing is hard on rubber, hard on nylon rollers and very hard on old spring steel — which is why the calls from up here are heavily skewed to snapped springs and jerky openers.
Vineyards and orchards around Ballandean, The Summit and Glen Aplin often need bigger shed doors for pickers' huts, harvest gear and cold storage, and there's a genuine push locally for insulated panel-lift doors on winery cellars — we do a few of those every season. Wallangarra sits right on the NSW border, and we service both sides.
