Privacy Policy

    Limitless Garage Doors & Gates Pty Ltd (ABN 36 681 742 567)

    Effective from 12 October 2026. Version 1.0.

    We respect your privacy. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

    "Personal information" means information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable.

    1. About this policy

    This policy applies to Limitless Garage Doors & Gates Pty Ltd (ABN 36 681 742 567), referred to as "we", "us" and "our". It covers personal information about our customers and their household members, people who contact us or use our website, builders, property managers and other trade partners, and people who apply to work with us.

    2. What personal information do we collect?

    The personal information we collect depends on how you deal with us. It usually includes:

    • Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and postal address.
    • Property and job details: the site address, access instructions, details of your door, gate or motor, and photos or videos you send us.
    • Records of our communication with you: call recordings, call summaries and transcripts, text messages, emails and social media messages.
    • Transaction details: quotes, invoices, payments and warranty records.
    • Feedback and reviews you give us.
    • Website information: information you enter into our forms, and technical information about your visit, described in section 12.

    We do not usually collect sensitive information, such as health information. If you give it to us, for example to explain an access need at your property, we use it only for that purpose and with your consent.

    3. How do we collect personal information?

    Where we can, we collect personal information directly from you, including when you:

    • call us, including calls answered by Bruce, our AI assistant (see section 7);
    • complete a form on our website, such as Book now or a quote request;
    • text, email or message us on Facebook or Instagram;
    • meet our team in person or on site; or
    • leave a review or respond to a survey.

    We sometimes collect personal information from other people, for example a builder, property manager, insurer or real estate agent who books work at your property. We use that information only for that job.

    4. Can you deal with us without identifying yourself?

    You can make a general enquiry without giving us your name. To quote, book or complete work, or to honour a warranty, we need to know who you are and where the work is.

    5. What happens if you do not give us your information?

    If you do not give us the information we ask for, we might not be able to quote accurately, book or complete your job, process a warranty claim, or respond to your enquiry.

    6. Why do we collect, use and disclose personal information?

    We collect, use and disclose personal information to:

    • respond to your enquiry and give you a quote;
    • book, plan and complete the work, and order parts and products;
    • contact you about your job, including appointment reminders and updates;
    • issue invoices, take payments and keep business records;
    • manage warranty claims with you and with manufacturers;
    • ask for feedback and invite you to leave a review;
    • send you service reminders and offers, if you have not opted out (see section 8);
    • train our team and improve our service; and
    • meet our legal obligations.

    We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not use it for any other purpose unless you agree or the law allows it.

    7. Phone calls, call recordings and our AI assistant

    Calls to and from our business may be recorded. Some calls are answered by Bruce, our AI assistant. Bruce records your name, contact details, address and the reason for your call, and passes a written summary to our team.

    We use call recordings, transcripts and summaries to handle your job correctly, to check the quality of our service, to train our team and to resolve disputes. We keep call recordings for 12 months and then delete them.

    8. Direct marketing and how to opt out

    We send marketing messages, such as service reminders and offers, only in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You can opt out at any time and we will stop promptly:

    • reply STOP to any text message;
    • click Unsubscribe at the bottom of any email; or
    • contact us using the details in section 16.

    Opting out of marketing does not stop messages about a job you have booked with us.

    9. Who do we disclose personal information to?

    We disclose personal information only as needed to:

    • service providers who help us run our business, including our phone and text messaging, our AI assistant, email, website and hosting, job management, analytics, reviews and advertising;
    • manufacturers and suppliers, to order products and process warranty claims;
    • subcontractors and trade partners who help complete your job;
    • your builder, property manager, insurer or agent, where they are involved in your job;
    • our accountants, lawyers and insurers; and
    • government agencies and others where the law requires or allows it.

    Our service providers may use and hold personal information only to provide their services to us.

    10. Is personal information sent overseas?

    Our customer contact and messaging records are stored in Australia (Sydney). Some of our service providers store or process personal information overseas, mainly in the United States. Before disclosing information overseas we take reasonable steps to make sure the recipient protects it in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

    11. How do we hold and protect personal information?

    We hold personal information in secure electronic systems. We protect it with measures that include password protected accounts, limiting access to staff who need it for their role, and choosing service providers with recognised security practices.

    We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, including warranty periods and our tax and legal record keeping obligations. When we no longer need it, we destroy it or remove identifying details.

    12. Our website, cookies and analytics

    Our website uses cookies and similar technology to work properly and to help us understand how visitors use it. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to measure visits and how pages are used, and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure our advertising. These tools collect information such as your device, browser, pages viewed and approximate location. They do not give us your name.

    You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the website might not work as intended if you do.

    13. How can you access or correct your personal information?

    You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details in section 16. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. In limited cases the law allows us to refuse a request, and if so we will tell you why in writing.

    14. How do you make a privacy complaint?

    If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please contact our Privacy Officer first using the details in section 16. We will acknowledge your complaint, look into it and respond in writing within 30 days.

    If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) on 1300 363 992 or at www.oaic.gov.au.

    15. Changes to this policy

    We review this policy regularly and update it when our practices change. The current version is always published on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
